**Digital Design & Development is a 3-year bachelor's degree fully taught in English and is part of Howest and The Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) and the Royal Conservatory.**

In the bachelor's program in Digital Design and Development (Devine), we merge design and technology to create the interactive experiences of tomorrow. We train you to become a true ‘Deviner’: a creative, digital creator of the future.

Devine is a unique, hands-on program where you learn how to touch people through digital products: from web experiences and apps to immersive installations and motion graphics.

## Our curriculum

### Design-UX

You explore design as a way of thinking, creating, and storytelling. You are curious about how design shapes the way we live and communicate.   
You develop skills in combining typography, spacing, color, and imagery to create effective digital communication. As a Deviner, you don’t just learn how to design, but also why design matters.

### Technology

As a creative developer, you use code to bring ideas to life. Code becomes your tool for making things move, respond, and communicate. You begin with the fundamentals, building your first web pages, while simultaneously experimenting with hardware such as sensors, circuits, and physical prototypes.

## Alumni in the spotlight

The final 3 months of Devine is dedicated to an internship. We have an extensive list of internships for students to choose from. You may expect to end up in a challenging creative sector with both national and international agencies. Approximately 85% of the students are offered a permanent contract at the internship. Job security is a fact when you have a Devine diploma.
